Driving through Tuscany
From Tuscany to the Dolomites

Driving tours of Italy, region by region

A well-designed driving tour of Italy offers far more than transport between places. It reveals the country properly: through its landscapes, regional character, food, architecture and the roads that connect them. Tuscany remains a classic choice for a first journey, with cypress-lined roads, hill towns and elegant countryside hotels.

Emilia-Romagna adds automotive heritage, with Maranello, Modena and Sant’Agata Bolognese at the heart of Italy’s motoring culture. For guests seeking elevation, drama and technical driving, the Dolomites offer some of Europe’s most memorable mountain roads.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in a luxury car tour in Italy?

Our guided tours typically include the car for the full journey, premium four- and five-star hotels, fuel, route planning, a printed route book, a dedicated support vehicle and on-road assistance throughout the trip. International flights and personal travel insurance are not included.

Can I book a self-drive luxury car tour in Italy?

Yes. You may simply hire the car, or ask us to arrange hotels, route recommendations and logistical support for a more complete self-drive driving tour of Italy.

Do I need a special licence to drive a Ferrari or Lamborghini?

No special licence is required. A standard EU licence or valid international driving permit is generally sufficient. Minimum age requirements and the refundable security deposit vary depending on the vehicle selected.

Which region is best for a driving tour of Italy?

Tuscany is ideal for elegant countryside driving. Emilia-Romagna is the natural choice for Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati heritage. The Dolomites suit those looking for mountain passes and more technical roads. Many itineraries combine two or more regions.

Where can I collect the car?

We offer collection and drop-off in Milan, Rome, Florence and Venice, with additional locations available for longer rental periods or bespoke itineraries.
